Here at Living Well we always value the hard work of our volunteers. Whether you’re someone who has been through one of our programmes and now feels able to offer peer support to others or you simply want some office admin experience at our friendly, central London headquarters, we’d be glad to hear from you.

Living Well provides all its volunteers with ongoing support and supervision and encourages you to participate fully with the process, sharing ideas and giving us feedback on the time you’ve spent with us.

Volunteering doesn’t just help us – it can help you too.
James Caan, business entrepreneur and regular on BBC TV’s Dragons’ Den, recently told The Guardian: ‘When I see two graduates whose CVs read the same, I look for activities like volunteering which gives the CV a unique selling point. As an employer, listening to a graduate talk about volunteering means you can start to see their personality and helps you to visualise them in your company.’

There are other benefits, too: countless surveys have shown that doing something altruistic, like volunteering, can improve your physical and mental wellbeing. And one of Living Well’s main aims is to connect people who may otherwise feel alienated and alone with their peers and the wider community – what better way to meet like-minded people and make friends than through volunteering with us?
