The Health, Wealth and Happiness Project

The Health, Wealth and Happiness Project at the Terrence Higgins Trust and the Positively Ageing Forum are pleased to announce that they are holding a Community Event for over 50s living with HIV.

The event will be free to attend upon RSVP and is open to those who are 50+ and living with HIV. We’re bringing together a mix of professionals, service providers, stakeholders and service users for a day of dialogue and engagement. So please come and check out what’s available in London, make some friends and have fun.

When: Thursday 2 May from 1pm until 5pm.
Who: Older people with HIV, HIV sector groups and assorted service providers.
Why: To meet and make friends across the board and learn what help is out there!

The event will start at 1pm with welcome drinks and light refreshments being served to the accompaniment of Kenneth Cushing on piano. At 2pm there will be 30 minutes of speeches. Gavin Crymble, Chair of Positively Ageing Forum (PAF), will start by telling everyone about the Forum and what they get up to. He will explain that the purpose of the afternoon is engagement and dialogue: for older HIV positive service users and their service providers to meet in an informal gathering and to make new contacts and friends. We hope people will learn from each other about the huge amount that is already going on and what more needs to be done.

Gavin will be followed by Charlie Witzel, the Health, Wealth and Happiness Coordinator, who will say a few words of welcome on behalf of Terrence Higgins Trust. Other speakers will be confirmed in due course.
Please RSVP to or 020 7812 1615.
