My Care My Voice

My Care My Voice is a new comprehensive and informative online based resource from NAT (National Aids Trust).

My Care My Voice explains to people living with HIV in England exactly what to expect from their health care service, including their rights and entitlements. There is advice on how to get the most out of HIV services. It also explains the recent changes to the NHS and the new opportunities for people living with HIV to get involved with shaping decision-making in their local area.

This new facility answers simply and effectively such important questions like “Should I tell my GP about my HIV?” and “What say do I have in the medications I am prescribed?” and also covers how to handle disclosure, discrimination and complaints in HIV related matters.

The information on this site will be updated regularly, but there are factsheets which can be downloaded as well.
