Stand Tall, Get Snapped

Edo Zollo spent the past year photographing people living with HIV.

Last year Photographer, Edo Zollo had a one night stand with someone he later found out was HIV positive.

After going to his local clinic, Edo tested negative for HIV but the whole process struck a chord with him and he decided to embark on a photo exhibition to find the different faces of HIV in the UK.

Fast forward a year and Edo’s photo project “Stand Tall, Get Snapped” which aims to break down the stigma attached to people living with HIV – is complete and currently on show in London, UK.

His pictures and the words of the participants he interviewed during the project have now been made in to a video to mark 30 years after the death of Terence Higgins, the first man to die of Aids in the UK.
