Information Days

Up to date information on the topics that matter most to people living with HIV.

Are Information Days for you?

Information sessions provide an opportunity for those interested in a specific topic to come along and hear from specialist speakers on a wide range of relevant subjects. Subjects are chosen based on what our services users tell us about what type of information they want and need. Sessions are coordinated throughout the year and cover a wide range of issues. Topics covered include: Treatment Updates and Medications, Pain and Stress Management, HIV and the Law, Getting Back to Work, Healthy Eating and Training Opportunities and Skill Development.

How do sessions work?

Information of the session is sent out to clients and other HIV services inviting anyone that may be interested to sign up. Sessions vary in length from a few hours to whole day and provide the opportunity for clients to receive current and relevant information as well as accessing to sources for additional information linking in and accessing other organisations and agencies. Participants not only hear for experts in their field are encouraged to ask questions in the sessions.
