Simon Jones

Director of Business Development, Strategy and Operations

Simon Jones began working with Living Well in 2002 as a Thames Valley University (TVU) Research Consultant commissioned to independently assess and evaluate service impact, review client satisfaction and make recommendations for change. Simon joined Living Well full time as a Business Development Manager in 2009 and as Head of Young Peoples Service was responsible for establishing the organisation’s reputation in the field of youth services. In 2010, Simon became a Director and co-founder of Living Well International CIC – the new community interest company formed as part of Living Well’s transition out from the NHS. Today, Simon manages all Living Well’s strategy and operations – ensuring the effective development and delivery of services.

Simon graduated in 2000 with a First Class BA (Hons) in Media and Asian Philosophy and has since earned five post-graduate qualifications, including three Masters Degrees in Research, Film and Video, a PgDip in Research Methodology and a PgCert in Teaching and Learning. In addition, Simon is PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner accredited, and has received a number of  professional qualifications from the University of Leeds, the Joanna Briggs Institute, the Royal College of Pathologists and the University of Oxford. Simon is also a Magistrate, a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a member of the Institute for Learning, the Society for Research into Higher Education, and the British Educational Research Association.
