Art Therapy is a combination of visual art and psychotherapy that uses creative processes such as painting or drawing to better express thoughts, feelings and inner conflicts. Art Therapy uses creativity as a starting point for self-exploration and understanding – enabling you to explore more fluidly through images.
Everyone is welcome to take part and no previous art experience is needed, as the focus is purely on personal expression. An experienced Art Psychotherapist will led the workshop and help you through the creative process.
Art Therapy can be helpful for a range of concerns or challenges including: • Anxiety • Depression • Life Transitions • Grief and Loss • Critical Illness • Creative Block • Lack of Focus • Low Self-Esteem • Difficulties with Communication.
